Estelle just finished up in surgery. She should be back in her room soon. Dr Gilligan was able to successfully place a defibrillator/pacemaker. It was tested, and appears to be working as it should. Dr Gilligan was able to get Estelle out of "atrial flutter". This is great! The plan is to monitor her and continue to use the new medications, and see how she does. The doctor seems to be optimistic.
More about the defibrillator/pacemaker: The device is set up to "shock her" if she needs it, and to regulate the amount of times the heart beats in a minute, when it needs it.
****Update: She just got out of recovery and is back in CCU, same room.
Thanks for the continued prayers! God is granting us our miracle! Thanks be to GOD!
