MRI led to a CT

Last night, Estelle had an MRI of the abdomen and spine.  They were concerned about what they saw, so the sent her right away for a CT.  The CT gave a better view of the problem.  It appears that some blood has "seeped" out due to the heparin (blood thinner), and the blood settled into her pelvic area.  The way she has been laying in bed, might be the reason for the area in which the blood settled.  The nurses and doctor knew her hemoglobin was down, and that she was loosing blood somewhere...
They are not concerned about what they found, and this should resolve on its own with time.  They stopped or held the Herperin since yesterday, but will decide whether they will put her back on in again later.

Estelle spent a good amount of time in sinus rythum this morning, but has been jumping in and out of a-fib this afternoon.  Her blood pressure has been a little low, but all of this is a balancing act getting her on the right meds and the right doses for her.

Estelle's pain seems to be managable today.  No morphine has been needed today.  She still has some upper leg numbness, but she is able to move them more today.  She slept VERY well last night, and she is "bright eyed and bushy tailed" today.  She has a great sense of humor and is going with the flow.  Bobby has been reading up on the EP study (electrical study), and about the difibulator.  The cards doc has not rounded yet today, so we will know more later.

Thanks as always for checking in. Thanks for the continued prayers,

Sending lots of love,
Christy for the Davis family
