Estelle continues to have an irregular heart beat today. She also continues to be off the herparin, because of the blood "seeping" into the pelvis. She is having some discomfort in her legs. Her legs have a numbness sensation in the upper thigh area. This is uncomfortable for her.
The cards doctor came in today and was not happy about the a-fib continuing. He decided to try her on a med to try to correct this issue. If this does not help....then may have to sedate her and take her down to have a little procedure done. This would entail "shocking her heart" into sinus rhythm. The plan is to try this medicine soon. The doctors/nurses have to watch Estelle closely when giving this to her.
Update: While working on the update, it looks like Estelle may be back into sinus rhythm. YEAH! They will not need to "shock" her or give her more meds.
