Surgery begins

The anesthesiology team just took Sydney back. It will take an hour and half or so to get her "prepped," so surgery will probably begin around 9 or so. We'll update again when we hear that surgery has begun.

This always feels like the hardest part; please keep Sydney and her medical team in your prayers.

Dr Peeler just came in to talk to us. He wanted to make sure we did not have any questions, and to tell us that surgery should be wrapping up around 11:30am or so.
