An new plan

Sydney was transferred to the pediatric ICU this evening, which frankly, I found relief in. She was continuing to have unstable O2 sats on 4 liters of O2 and blow by O2. Sydney was desatting while being carried, on O2,to the bathroom to 50%.  This is scary stuff.

The PICU, has a new plan for Sydney.  They saw inflammation in the lungs that resembles the way asthma looks likes on chest x-ray.  They thought they would to try and treat this like asthma by add add'l breathing treatments.  The PICU thinks all of this me be a result of family history and the H1N1-- and not just the pulmonary edema (which they thought was better).

I am REALLY tired from the lack of sleep last night.  Syd is currently stable and resting with Daddy this evening. Please keep the prayers coming, and thanks again for all of the love and support!
