Sydney is out of surgery and doing fine. Thank you God! We were really worried, and starting to pace big time!! We really thought this would be done by 11, since they started later...but these things can just take time. Dr G had to open Sydney's chest completely, because of all of the scare tissue from all of the other surgeries. Dr G was able to put a bigger canister in---with has a much better battery life (8 years). Dr G repositioned the Aorta off of Sydney's sternum. All 4 leads were place with good capture.
Anyway, she is getting settled into the PICU right now....pacing. They have pulled the breathing tube, and she has a chest tube. We are anxious to see her.
